Making field trips work like magic
We started TripSlip with the goal to eliminate the coordination chaos that drains revenue from venues and steals teaching time from educators. Having lived these problems firsthand—from the driver's seat of school buses to museum coordination desks—we went deep and built our own solution that connects the entire field trip ecosystem.
Teachers use TripSlip to reclaim hours of their week for actual education instead of administrative busywork. Venues recover thousands in lost revenue while delivering seamless experiences. We're focused on solving real problems at our core, letting schools and cultural institutions focus on their mission without having to think about coordination complexity. In a few clicks, we let you transform field trip chaos into educational magic. And since pricing is entirely usage-based, you only pay when our platform creates value.
Our team is based out of Detroit, Michigan. It includes former museum coordinators, active CDL drivers, educators with decades of classroom experience, and product leaders who understand that field trips should create memories and revenue — not headaches and losses.

Meet our founder
Former museum coordinator, CDL driver, lifelong Detroit educator
Achsha brings an extraordinary combination of real-world experience and entrepreneurial drive to TripSlip. As a lifelong and intentional Detroiter, she's witnessed firsthand how coordination chaos impacts both sides of the field trip ecosystem. With her commercial driver's license and over one million commercial miles logged, she understands transportation logistics from the ground up. Her experience as a Sales Coordinator at the Detroit Historical Museum gave her insider knowledge of how venues lose revenue to coordination gaps and uncollected fees.
What drives Achsha is her commitment to solving real problems for her community. As a single mother of two daughters living on Detroit's Far West Side, she understands the challenges teachers and parents face with field trip coordination.
Beyond TripSlip, she's active in Detroit's entrepreneurial ecosystem as Board Chair for Girls Rock Detroit and Ambassador for The Marygrove Conservancy. She's also authored a book and maintains her real estate license for property investment projects.
Achsha embodies Detroit's spirit of resilience and innovation, turning challenges into opportunities while building technology that serves her community.
